About Asynq Family

We are an ordinary family. We have three little boys, a fourth on the way, a lot of joy, a lot of energy, and like most families, an endless list of things that need to stay together.

Mom is a creative soul. She loves making things by hand, sewing, herbal remedies, and natural balms, and she dreams of building her own cosmetics brand one day. She loves order, systems, and things that make sense.

Dad is a builder, YC founder, ethical hacker, and enthusiast of crypto and AI. His head is often in the clouds, so he forgets things, including important ones. He likes order too, but he would always rather spend time with the kids as much as possible.

Sound familiar? That is exactly where Asynq Family came from.

How the idea started

Our Google Calendar used to look like a color firework. In theory, everything was there. In practice, it was hard to read, and keeping it continuously up to date was almost impossible.

While dad was building Asynq Teams for team decisions (asynq.org), mom had one simple thought:

“What if something similar existed for families?”

Not another complex tool. Not another app that creates more work. A simple, calm system that reduces pressure for both your mind and your relationship.

What we believe

We believe most conflict at home is not caused by bad intentions.

It is caused by overload.

When everything lives in one person’s head, tension grows. Reminders start feeling personal. Agreements get blurry. And both people feel like “we already talked about this.”

Love alone does not solve logistics.

Clarity does.

What Asynq Family is

Asynq Family is an iOS-first app for family agreements. It is designed to be far more usable than a traditional calendar for everyday family life.

Instead of filling complicated forms, you can write an agreement in your own words. AI helps validate it, sharpen it, and turn it into a structured agreement with reminders.

And when there is no time to type, you can just speak it. AI converts audio to text and continues exactly the same way.
